Apple Devices

To use the Logitech "one-cable-for-all" meeting room solution, Apple users must have “DisplayLink Manager” installed to share the screen via the purple “Y-Cable”. Otherwise you need to connect the screen trough Airplay or an additional HDMI cable to make it work.

Without Displaylink: Powersupply, Camera, Speaker and Microphone is connectet
With Displaylink: Powersupply, Camera, Speaker, Microphone AND Screen is connectet

1.     Google for «macos displaylink» and download the software.

2.     Start the installation, click ”Continue”

3.     Click ”Continue”

4.     Click ”Agree”

5.     Click ”Install”

6.     Enter your Laptop password or use your fingerprint

7.     Click “Close”

8.     Select the Display Link Icon on the top right of your screen and select “Launch automatically after login”

9.     Open System Preferences

10.  Select “Security & Privacy”

11.  Scrool down to “Screen Recording”
12.  Click on the “Lock” in the left corner and enter your laptop password
13.  Setlect “DisplayLink Manager”

1.     Search on Google for «macos displaylink» and download the software.

2.    Start the installation, click ”Continue”

3.     Click ”Continue”

4.     Click ”Agree”

5.     Click ”Install”

6.    Enter your Laptop password or use your fingerprint when asked…

7.     Accept the installer access request

8.     Click “Close” and if asked you can move the installer file to Bin

9.    Select the Display Link Icon on the top right of your screen and select “Launch automatically after login” so Displaylink will be active after a restart.

10.   Open System Settings

11. Select “Security & Privacy” and click on “Screen Recording”

12.   Under “Screen Recording” set Display Links to “on”

 

Click “Quit & Reopen”

In case there is no “Displaylink Manager” in the Screen Recording tab:

1. click on the “+” Icon
2. search for “Displaylink”,
3. select “Displaylink Manager” and choose “Open” and confirm with “Quit & Reopen”

Whether you are using Windows or Apple, once you have connected to the Logitech camera, you may need to adjust a few settings in your favorite video meeting application (Zoom, Teams, Google Meet, Cisco Webex….).

Normally these are set automatically, but if this is not the case, the following must be set.

1. choose „Logitech Rally Bar“ as camera
2. choose „Logitech Rally Bar“ as microphone
3. choose „Logitech Rally Bar“ as speaker

Windows Devices

If your on a Windows Device, it's "plug-and-play", no installation needed...

Good news, if you have a Windows Laptop, there is no software installtion needed, the Logitech Rally Bar is plug-and-play.

Whether you are using Windows or Apple, once you have connected to the Logitech camera, you may need to adjust a few settings in your favorite video meeting application (Zoom, Teams, Google Meet, Cisco Webex….).

Normally these are set automatically, but if this is not the case, the following must be set.

1. choose „Logitech Rally Bar“ as camera
2. choose „Logitech Rally Bar“ as microphone
3. choose „Logitech Rally Bar“ as speaker
